ONE HANDED CAAAAATCH!

 

Gatorade wanted better connect with teen athletes. The first thing we did was to reposition the brand from the coach on the sidelines to the teammate in the huddle.

So when briefed to create a campaign for NFL fans, we said: “Why not create a social-first experience on platforms that consumes spend so much time on instead?” The client agreed.

HIGHLIGHTS App

Teens already try to outdo each other with edits using the same tired Instagram and Snapchat effects. All while their favorite sports media outlets can pull out all the stops. Gatorade changed that. 

Gatorade created the Highlights app to give athletes the tools to take their best sports moments to the next level.

It was up to us to show them how Highlights can get them noticed.

At launch, we wanted to make the functionality of the app immediately clear to teens when they landed on @gatorade’s feed so they would be compelled to download. To accomplish this, we juxtaposed action footage with a sticker showcase, to inspire teens to make kick-ass highlights of their own.
